Brendan was originally from Montreal Canada
where he learned to sail on an International 14 with his father. The
time he spent with his father on the boat captured his love for sailing.
It was no surprise then, that at age sixteen he purchased his first
boat, a Thistle, with money he earned delivering newspapers. Over
the years Brendan has skippered and crewed on J35s, J24s, Lightnings
and currently owns a J30.
Brendan currently resides in Red Creek, New York
with his wife Dianna and son Brian. Brendan also has two grown children,
Sean and Lynn. Brendan is looking forward to being a part of the
National Hospice Regatta. Brendan became involved in the Hospice
movement five years ago when his father utilized their services.
Since then, Brendan and his wife have actively participated in each
of the Hospice regattas in their area.
