Luke Buxton moved to Massachusetts from Long Island's South Shore ten years ago. Having grown up sailing with his family, Luke has been racing for more than twenty years.

I'm very honored to represent Marblehead in 2007 Hospice regatta. We were lucky enough to win our class this past year and even luckier to win the right to represent the area. Just a little back round I grew up in Sayville NY sailing Sunfish and Lasers. I moved to the Marblehead are 10 years ago to work at Dions Yacht Yard. I'm an avid Ice boater sailing Dn's in the New England area and started racing a C+C 29 two years ago. I'm hoping to have some of my college team mates (Salem State) sail with me in this regatta. I think this is going to be a great regatta benefiting a great cause and would like to thank everybody who has made it possible to sail.
