It is an honor to represent Oswego County in the 2005 Hospice regatta.
My father is in his 5th year of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)
and Hospice is part of his planned care. We are grateful that Hospice
is an option. We are glad we can help promote and support the cause.
Touchstone Technology Inc. in Rochester, NY sponsored us for the
event as they have in the past, “thank you” to Eric
Snavely at Touchstone for continuing to support Hospice.
This year’s qualifying regatta was fun for us because we
did it on Curt Barnes’ J24 appropriately named “Brain
Cramp” with some very good friends: John Baker, Joy Martin,
and Don Stehle. My son Sam and his school friend Andy Zuber rounded
out the team.

We spend most of our time in the Thistle and J24 because both are
very competitive and they are surrounded by a great group of people.
In the past, I did a lot of college racing and then coaching. I
also spent a lot of time on a Tornado.
The J24 is the biggest thing I have been on in a while, so I am
looking forward to the 105 and figuring out the wheel!
