I first started sailing my freshman year in college at Ohio State University. While there, I raced Lasers, FJ's and 420's and raced for both the university team and the Navy ROTC team. I also began crewing on bigger boats in Cleveland my junior and senior years. Since then, I have skippered or crewed on a wide variety of boats from sunfish to a custom 52' IOR boat. I have sailed actively in several areas: Cleveland, Corpus Christi, Buffalo, San Francisco, and Hampton Roads. I currently own a J-24, and race it up and down the eastern seaboard.
