2012 Vanderleek Cup Hospice Regatta — August 18, 2012

The regatta is named for Paul VanderLeek, gifted architect, family man and community leader, who took great pleasure in sailing with his family and meeting fellow sailors. Please see his biography, right.

Sailing Regatta  Starting from Macatawa Bay Yacht Club. Open to all sailboats. Held in Lake Michigan, south of the Holland Harbor.

Dinghy Poker Run Wet & wild fun for all!

Dinner, Raffle & Auctions  Delicious & fun – dockside in the Yacht Basin boat barn. Traditional Bayshore Yacht Club corn roast & grilled chicken with all the fixings. Cash bar. Raffle. Unique silent & vocal auction items.

Great Band! “Classic Fix” – Best Michigan Cover Band. Dancing.

Regatta Goals To raise awareness of hospice end-of-life care, to raise money for Hospice of Holland’s Tulip Tree Fund, to help hospice patients with very few financial resources, and to increase access to sailing and boating in the Holland area.
